What's new for 2012?
2012 will be a re-building year. The jeep is already in the garage and there will be some big changes coming!
Those who know me know that I'm never satisfied with the jeep. So after running my current setup (upgraded stock axles, 4.56 gears, and 35's) for the last 5 years or so, I've found myself wanting better (lower) gearing, better brakes, improved suspension, and bigger tires. Those upgrades don't come cheap, since I'll need new axles to accomplish what I want. Plus I've been spoiled with ARBs and manual hubs so I don't think I'd enjoy not having that. Thankfully I've been wanting to do this for some time so I've been saving money and have enough parts to get started on this project. I hope to share plenty of pics and regular updates with you throughout the year.
I bought this 2000 Jeep Cherokee brand new on 11/19/1999. Since then it has gone through numerous changes: 3 suspensions, 4 different tire sizes, and even different paint. Check out the slideshow below of some random photos from the past.
